Bill, These steins were made in China for Domex/Gerz. I asked Manuel Weisbender of Domex if they were made from the Marzi & Remy molds. Although he stated they were not from the M&R molds, nor intended to be copies, they are quite similar to the old M&R black-handled steins. Several others are available. They will be difficult to distinguish from the originals in several years, particularly if the marking is removed. I have two steins made for Leinenkugel Brewing in China for Domex. Both steins have the Domex mark, a stein with the words “Domex” and Made in “Germany” perpendicular to the stein. I see nothing deceptive by this seller as it is clearly stated as being made in China and a photo is provided showing the markings on the bottom of the stein. Since the five-digit zip code was introduced in 1963, we know it is dated after 1962. Ron
