Hi Walt, thanks so much for the info. so am I safe to assume this is not a fake or reproduction?? I looked at many sites with markings for Gerz, and couldn't find that mark anywhere, also, I will remove the statement about being painted by Gerz, I didn't believe that, but they insisted!! I figured if that was true, this thing would be in a museum! Kathy
