Fell in love with these - photos of one but I purchased two, exactly alike. They are obviously some type of tin or cannister that held candy or something? Distressed by scratches on exterior design work - art nouveau? knight astrice his horse surrounded with stylized floral border - but still attractive with charm - at least I think so. Can anyone tell me how old they are? possibly what they were made for? and if they have a proper name? Stein tin, tin stein etc. has produced no search results for me and metal stein (duh) got me loads of pewter, etc. beer steins but nothing like these. Have provided some photos of how they were soldered together also. Am posting here and on the vintage board as not sure if these are "vintage" or "antique" or just junk that I happened to like! Thanks in advance.<p><br><br><center><img src="http://www.deadzoom.com/member/myshabbichic/knightsteintin.jpg"><br><br><img src="http://www.deadzoom.com/member/myshabbichic/knightsteintin2.jpg"><br><br><img src="http://www.deadzoom.com/member/myshabbichic/knightsteintin3.jpg"><br><br><img src="http://www.deadzoom.com/member/myshabbichic/knightsteintin4.jpg"><br><br><img src="http://www.deadzoom.com/member/myshabbichic/knightsteintin5.jpg"><br><br><img src="http://www.deadzoom.com/member/myshabbichic/knightsteintin7.jpg"><br><br><img src="http://www.deadzoom.com/member/myshabbichic/knightsteintin8.jpg"><br><br><img src="http://www.deadzoom.com/member/myshabbichic/knightsteintin9.jpg"></center>
