John, thanks for the info. Now that I know what time frame I'm looking in, I have to try to track down specifics and value. (There's no way I'm going to sell this stein (well, maybe if it's worth $10,000 plus, which is highly doubtful), I'm just excitedly curious.) Any(one have) ideas on where to go from here? Net search after net search has netted me nothing on this particular stein. I've been on Google, Yahoo, eBay, Rubylane, and a few others, to no avail. thanks, eric
