Greetings, I have a very old faience stein I would like to know more about. It measures approx. 8 1/2 inches tall without the finial. There are initials ARK in script on the lid as well as 1783. Inside the lid are 3 hallmarks. The first one is hard to see but could be a clover? Second is a man with a banner over his head and the third is a hand. Is this a German stein?I appreciate any help.
