I agree with John that this is a Reinhold Hanke stein as identified by the arched "Germany" on the bottom of the stein. There are some very distinguishing characteristics (like the stroke of an artist's brush) of a designer that worked for Matthias Girmscheid. Girmscheid had a designer, "AD" (A. Decker) who signed some pieces while at Girmscheid, but later worked for Hanke. I think this is an "AD" piece. Other Girmscheid trait is the handle form.
