Keith, Absolutely not! A triangle mark (not shown as the bottom is taped for some reason) is either Gerz or Thewalt. I would guess the former. This is also a pottery stein whereas Mettlach made stoneware steins. I would be wary of dealers that hide the bidders. Ron
