My father bought M&R 2029, new,in the early 50's, and which was the first stein in my collection.As for the rest I suggest you take out a subscription in the Beer Stein Library and Stein Collectors where you will meet a lot of nice people and learn a lot about steins. It is always more fulfilling to do one's own research. It looks like you might be about to embark on the same adventure as myself.
