Paul, I think it's safe to say it's a reproduction. If the info at this web site is correct, the Kgl.Bayer.Army had infantry regiments numbered from 1 through 33. Number 4 was stationed in Metz. There was no 145th Regiment. http://users.hunterlink.net.au/~maampo/militaer/milindex.html
