Paul, Forget what I said above. "Upon further review" (as they say at football games), there apparently was a 145th Regiment at Metz. At the above web site, under Table of Contents, there is the Kgl. Bayerishe Armee Korps on the far right of the screen. The infantry regiments there are numbered 1 - 33. But if you look at the far left, under Infanterie, Infanterie-Regimenter Nr. 121-160, you will find a 145th Regiment in Metz. Sorry for the confusion.
