Hello All! I would like some help identifying a manufacturer and possible year of manufacturer. (See photos at http://www.forensic-applications.com/Examplephotos/Stein.html The piece is a relief musical stein with pewter lid and a Thorens musical box set underneath (“Trink, Brüderlein trink”). The form number is beneath the handle attachment and is difficult to read but the first three digits are almost certainly 331 and the fourth digit is probably a 3 but may be an 8 or 6. There are two other identifiers under the piece; one is incised and appears to be a 5 and the other is a PUG and is the number “15.” “Made in Germany” is incised under the handle. Inscribed left is “Glück ist mür” and inscribed right is “Jiner wirb das” Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Merry Christmas all! Caoimhín P. Connell fiosrach@aol.com AMDG
