You also need leaders with vision and goals, ready to invest in the club rather than tighten the purse strings. Companies that don't advertise go out of business. The ANA and dare I mention the NRA, have youth groups, where is SCI's youth group? There are to many self-centered collectors and not enough teachers in SCI. Most stein collectors are only interested in the bottom line, rather than the future. I wonder if they have given any thought to the question of who is going to buy their steins when it comes time to sell? If thay are not helping to build a market for them the answer is nobody. Actually I think it is great, less competition and lower prices is something I can look forward to.
