Claudia, your steins are considered to be modern or contemporary as evidenced by the "Made in Western Germany" mark. That mark indicates that the steins were manufactered after WWII from about 1947 until Germany's reunification. The vast majority of these steins only have nominal value; many times selling on the secondary market for less than the original purchase price. Without photos, it is impossible to tell who the manufacturer was, and even with photos it may not be possible since you didn't indicate any other markings on the steins.
