In response to your post. 1- I dont know where you got your average but the age varies among collectors. 2- prices do vary as evidenced by auction prices and ebay sales. 3- There is more info about steins now then ever before, check out Prosit. 4- What clubs have disbanded? 5-Have you checked Ron Fox Auction, Gary Kirsner and Andre Ammerlounx auctions. I frequent local auctions and antique shops and I do see steins of various makers. People with your attitude contribute to many collecting failures. Finally I have been in contact with many experienced collectors and they have been extremly helpful.
