There is a Gerz “Limität” series of early Westerwald stein reproductions that was begun in 1974 and continued until 1999, when Gerz went out of businees. If those were the steins your husband had, you can find them at The Beer Stein Library, which also has an estimate of their value. You can find the link to that site in the Links section, however, membership ($25) is required at that site to view the Gerz catalog. If not, your best bet is too search eBay for similar Gerz steins to check their current market value. Ron
