Matt - sorry for the delay in responding - my security was too high. The give away on this being a repro is the front of the stein - it shows the 'wappens' (coat of arms) from all the various German States - Prussian, Saxon, Bavarian, Baden - a true regimental would only have the 'wappen' from the state that the individual served in. And last but not least, it doesn't pass the 'sniff test' :^) Having collected regimentals for close to 40 years, you can 'just tell' a original from a 'repro' - word of warning - anything coming from Eastern Europe is suspect - I have photos of common inf. steins that have been altered into 'red cross' and other 'rare' steins by bead blasting off a scene and repainting the scene - and yes, they have been offered on E-Bay.
