From the Beer Stein Library: "Founded in 1898 in the town of Höhr, the firm of Eckhardt & Engler continued in operation until 1971. In 1922 E&E acquired the molds from the defunct firm of Roßkopf & Gerz, which had desolved some five years earlier." The stein in question is a Post WWII reproduction, made from an old R&G mold, and has a secondary market value of around $50.
