Ken, There are several versions of Officer Sudds as well as different manufacturers. Cermarte made the first ones, and the raised star on the helmut is considered the first edition (not marked as such). That is why you see a disparity in the prices paid for Officer Sudds. Knowledgeable collectors want the relief star on the helmut and will bid it up accordingly, although some novice collectors will pay to much for the flat star version made by Cermarte thinking it was one of the first ones made. That is one of the main reasons to belong to a club or organization, to gain knowledge so you can make wise investments.
