I recently came into possession of 2 steins that belonged to an uncle. I don't really know much about their orign or history. One of the steins was given to him from a neighbor who was German, and brought it back from a visit. I has the City of Frankfurt on the front, Ivory background with the city painted in black. The markings on the bottom, Western Germany, a 2 in center of the bottom, and 404. The second stein has a fox handle and a hunting scene around the entire stein. Markings impressed on base a circle with appears to read orignal GERZIT GERZ a triangle with looks like a stein in the center. Also has some script that looks like, Handargeit, and a 7. Any information would be grealty appreciated. Thank you.
