Polly: Diesinger owned two patents, DRGM 154927 and 250635. Diesinger steins are sometimes referred to as DRGM steins because Diesinger usually employed only the DRGM number on the bottom with no further mark. If in fact your DRGM # is 454927 it may not be a Diesinger, but some other stein maker that had a patent of 454927 in the manufacturing process. I'm not familar with a 454927 patent but as suggested pictures would help. I cannot otherwise help as to where to research your particular patent number. Ralph
