I have found what I believe is a "Goebel" period (early 70's?)Merkelbach stein 29.5 cm high, pewter top, gray clay and salt glazing in background, cobalt blue and brwonish purple "overglazing"(?), incised decoration of floral motif (repeated pattern of overview of bloom and side of bloom)with some diamond shaped geometric designs, each motif in its own square and repeated. The flower bloom, the Merkelbach marking, and the pewter lid are similar to those at the following website: www.rubylane.com/shops/noahsatticantiques/item/JA25. The incised Merkelbach marking has the following marks below it on the base: C 1626. Is this indeed from the early 1970's? Any estimate of its money value? Is it a "Jugendstil" reproduction? Thanks for your help; since I don't have a digital camera I had to do a long winded description.
