Duane, The first three were lidless (I guess we didn't establish the criteria for what we collect until later - mugs (no lid was intended), lidless stein (handle designed to accomodate a lid, the first three convention "steins" have marks where the strap can be attached to the handle) and steins, which do have a lid. The 2000 Houston convention "stein" was a boot made by Thewalt that obviously does not have a lid. The 2003 Indianapolis convention did not have a stein, but rather a pilsner glass. All the other conventions had what we collect, real steins. Ron
