On my last trip, I came across this stein without a lid. At the time it was in an antique shop buried, yet with a hefty price of $350.00 for a stein without the lid. I did not know what it was, just that it was Mettlach. Is it worth picking it up? If so, what are the odds of finding a lid, having one made, or is it worth doing such? What would value be without a lid?
