Let me expand a little on Chris' answer. The Beer Stein Library has a Search Engine. You could have put in the number, as Chris did, and the Search Engine would have brought up a list of links to any (and all) steins in the Library which match that number. If the stein you are researching has text on it, you could enter any of the text (sometimes only a few words are legible), and the Search Engine will return a list of links to all steins in the library with those words appearing. I also use the search engine to try and translate German phrases that appear on steins that are not in the library. By entering the phrase, you will be given links to steins in the library that have the same phrase, and you can see the translations. The Library is not only a great reference site, it is also a great tool. Jerry
