I didn't say anything about it being a new stein. The stein appears to be ivory stoneware so it is probably post 1885 and it would have to be from before 1921 when MWG became Wick Werke. Not all of the marks used by the various manufacturers over the years have been recorded. The one thing this hobby sorely lacks is a complete list of anything. Many of the marks seen are not even manufacturer's marks, but finishing shop/distributor marks. That is why I asked you what the rubber stamped mark says. If it is a distributor's mark it is one I am not familiar with.
