Ah, team work. With your translation of "Ein Trunk in Ehren" and link to the Old German Print and Script I came up with "wer wills verwehren" for the other side. Using google I found an auction list that had: Stone Crock 1901A, Germany 9, Ein Trunk in Ehren wer wills verwehren. http://tinyurl.com/z5f3b . It seems the stein has the phrase "Ein Trunk in Ehren wer wills verwehren" meaning "A drink in honours who wills refuse" I'm going to poke around some more with the above phrase. I just found out my stein shipped yesterday. It's going to be a long wait till it gets here.
