Ron, A big THANKS for all the information! Hopefully, one of the other collectors might be able to add some more. This particular stein was picked up and brought back by my father during WWII. I had occasion to talk with the manager of the Hofbrauhaus in 1971 while in the Army because my real profession was the hospitality industry. I described the stein to him as best as I could without really knowing anything about steins. He became very interested in it and wanted me to get pictures and possibily sell it to him. I didn't follow through since the stein was actually my dad's.
