While Diesinger did hold at least two known German patents, neither of them had the number 158585. Moreover, there is no reason to believe that Diesinger ever made a glass stein. As for who #158585 belongs to or what it's for, the answer will have to wait for someone who knows a lot more about glass steins than I do.
