Hi! I'm so excited to have found this site! I have an old stein that belonged to my late father-in-law. I have always been so intrigued by it, because it looks like an actual steel engraving or etching from an antique book was put right on the stein. I love the detail. It's marked 'Made In Germany' on the bottom, along with a mark that looks like an oval with maybe an N or M over an R. I'm going to try & post photos...hope this works! Any info would be greatly appreciated.
