I've inherited a Stein of very inticately Etched Glass w pewter mounts. Lid is engraved JLR and dated 1739. Glass has a Blown pontil mark, pewter has much wear has some minor damages, the thumblift appears to have been a sphere but the top half is missing. I really don't know if this is as old as it is dated or if it is a decorative piece my aunt picked up in her travels. I also don't know if it has any value... any suggestions on where to research that kind of info?
