Yes, I think it is a fake. It has the 'bump' but it sure is a nice fake! I don't know much about steins... We have another one that has 'made in West Germany' on the bottom. It's a lot different from the Regimental. Just has a colorful carved scene of some men in a forest with German words that I can't make out.
