Hi John, Thanks for that, I read the article and am still at a loss, my stein unfortunately has been painted with a metalic paint to make it look in better condition??? or to make it look old???Could be either. I just loved it not as much as your royal viennas however and just thought I would find out if someone knew something incase I ever needed to sell it in the future and I could be honest with its age etc but for now I will just enjoy its interesting appeal.
