Hi Lore, Marzi and Remy # 2964 is listed in the Beer Stein Library as being in the $30 - $40 price range, and is described simply as "Floral Pattern." It isn't possible to date accurately because M&R did not use a dating system in marking their steins and once a mold was in service, it would have been used for a number of years. Even after it started showing signs of wear, making a new mold from one of the steins, would extend the life of the mold number indefinitely. However, from the relatively high number used for the mold, I would assume it was introduced late in the time span you indicated from the basemark. If the base says "Made in Germany", it was made before 1950. If the base says "Made in West Germany", it would be from the 1950's or 1960's. If I had to guess, I would say it is probably from the 1930's.
