I am about to purchase a tennis themed stein described as being abou 110 years old. The lid has a pyramid of 4 white tennis balls. The body has upright tennis racquets in relief and words in German around them. If I remember correctly, the colors of the racquet are brown/beige and the lettering is white (?). (I don't have a photo or the stein in front of me.) There is an identical stein in a display case at the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, RI. The dealer offering it is a reputable dealer of tennis collectibles and he is asking $750.00, which is what he said he payed for it a few years ago. I could any help you can provide about the rarity and/or price, but hurry!! (It's going to be a surprise birthday present to be given tonight (7/19). Thanks!
