I've looked at marks until I'm cross-eyed, but can't find this. The stein seems very new to me. It is 6 1/4" tall (7 1/4" to the top of the pewter thumb-hold) and 4 1/4" wide at the base. Filled to the top, it holds 24 fl. oz. The shield in the marks makes me think Bavaria or the Palatinate - but who knows? Sincere thanks for any help you can give.
