I have a Mettlach stein my father brought home with him from Europe after WW2. The number stamped on the bottom is 2093. Has a hinged lid inlaid with the four suits/symbols from a deck of playing cards. 6" tall. Pewter ring on the lid; engraved on ring inside lid is "Club Bauer 1904." Thumblift is two acorns. Body is barrel shaped, with a face card from each of the suits encircling it. It has damage where the handle came off and looks like it was put back on with ceramic/pottery glue. Otherwise, looks to be in good shape. I'd appreciate knowing something about it.
