This strange and beautiful stein belonged to my mother. I have no idea where she got it, but it was on a shelf in her living room for at least thirty years. It is nine inches tall and five inches in diameter. I almost sold it this weekend at a yard sale, but thought maybe I should do a little research first. The lid is inscribed on the top and on the inside. Anybody recognize this?
