Cyn, I posted an answer, but I don't know what happened to it. Kirsner's new Mettlach book estimates a high-quality repair of multiple cracks in the handle will run $80 to $140. He also estimates a high-quality repair of multiple broken pieces, but not in the etching, will reduce the value 35% or more ($150 or more for your stein). You will need to show the damage to someone to get a better idea of the cost. Ron
