I have this stein and I am hoping someone can tell me about it. I am wondering if it is a new/repro or is there a reason besides the picture that the name of the person is not on it? Would this not be a regiment stein? I believe the translation for the writting on each side of the picture reads IN LOYAL Firmly In the Field Strongly...something to that effect. The top does have the date 1914 and the thumb press has what I think is the same man in the picture on it and another man? The stein is marked only 1/2L underlined if this helps. THANKS ever so much! I do have one more I need help with but have yet to get good photos.
