Mark, Steins made by Villeroy & Boch at their Mettlach factory are some of the most popular and best marked steins made in Germany. The title for this stein is "German Cards" and the "00" on the bottom means it was made in 1900. A companion stein is "French Cards" with the form number 1395. In mint condition, The Beer Stein Library (see Links section, membership required to view their catalogs) lists both at $350-$450.
