I am certainly no expert on Glass Steins, but have read enough articles by Ron Fox, an expert, to make a few asumptions. If you look at the stein, notice not only the quality of the glass cutting, but more importantly, the depth of the cut. Few artisans were able to achieve such results and it is not uncommon for steins of this caliber to go between $4,000 - $6,000. The color blue is also not often seen and is very apealing, as is the brass, or gold wash on the lid.
