tstsnh, A stein that says "original" is generally a contemporary stein. Gerzit refers to the clay used by a firm Gerz acquired. You might search eBay to find this stein for further information. I think your stein might be a comical skier, but I would need to see it to be sure. You might post a photo for more assistance. Ron
