Jordan, Per similar steins and lids shown in Walter Mueck's book on Historische Bierkruege, they both date around 1900. At one time Der Bierkrugsammler stated that hand-turned steins partly comb-sheared and with the capacity mark on the front dated from 1890-1900. I have a Lowenbrau stein like yours.
