Ron, I am hooked! This is turning out to be a most exciting search for information. I also enjoy being able to converse with my fellow creations. You all have been very helpful and have exhibited a great deal of patience with my novice ignorance. As for this particular stein, I'm beginning to believe she may be a religious figure. The towers ID you gave and the fact that 'she' has a cross on her back, leads me to believe she may be a nun or possibly a monk. I have to update my photo software to be able to upload a pic. When I do, I will also include a stein I believe to be named "Wolf in the Woods". This one was so named by an appraiser back in '92 commissioned by my mother-in-law. It was at that time that "Old Maid of Munich" was named for her. I now believe the appraiser was mistaken. The mystery and the hunt continue! I'm loving this!! Thanks for all your help - talk to you soon. Cindy
