Walt, from what I gather from the article, the various artists started replacing the book of law or scrolls with foaming steins and radishes to the images of the 'child' around the middle of the 19th century. Am I reading that correctly? Can I use that information to help date mine? From memory....Geschzlich Geschutzt and J. Reinemann, were doing business for the tourist trade in the early 1900s, right? If that's true than this guy isn't nearly as old as I initially thought. Am I on the right timeline? cft
