Cindy, The copy paste does work. Your initial post said your stein was porcelain, but this stein is pottery. Porcelain steins would not have an incised mark and if they had any mark at all, it would be a stamp. Since Reinemann had the steins made for him to sell, it would be difficult to say who made this stein. He did operate in the early 1900s, so your stein would b considered antique. Once you post photos of the stein and the other one you had a question on we may be able to add to your knowledge. What you described as a cross on the back is probably the sash on the robe. Glad you joined SCI. Did you check for a chapter in your area? Meeting other collectors and seeing more steins will add to your knowledge. Be sure to contact the stein auction companies shown in the Links section to get on their catalog list. Just mention you are a new member of SCI. Ron
