Bill - Please look at the photos link and see if this is the two paint technique you were referring to. In my mind - no. The example you showed me was so much more deliberately accented and shaded. Mine looks simply worn and the paint remained in the creases only. Well, you'll see. Also - can you see the castle in the background? Do you know it? As well, I'd love for you all to notice the mark in the center of the bottom. Is that a 6 or a G? You can feel it with your fingernail - any meaning to it? I'm just glad to finally get the pics to everyone. All the build up though, I'm sure this is a let down for most of the people who've helped me get this far. Anyway - I'd love the continued input if you all are up to it. Thanks, Cindy By the way, on the character stein bottom, not very visible in the pics, is an 8 (I think) might be a backwards B, whatever that might mean. Any ideas on that? Thanks again! cft
