Ron - How do we know its a Thewalt then? From what I've read, each owner had his own mark - the eldest from 1893-1900. His son from 1900-1920 then from 1920-30 and then the grandson from 1930-present (until 1999). And I thought they were very diligent about signing everything! God - this is so confusing!! Just when I think I understand something I'm made to realize I don't know anything! To B. Dalton with me. Time to buy some books. Cindy
