Cindy, You need to read my article on Thewalt in the Reading Room/Library section of this site. The firm used various marks over the years. They had nothing to do with trying to identify which Thewalt led the firm at the time. The founder lived from 1857-1939. The son took over in 1939 and led the firm until he died in 1957. The grandson took over in 1957. While I did not find 1307 in the online catalog, the body is so much like mold 139 that it is most likely made by Thewalt. I am less certain about your recent find, but it does look like a Thewalt scene. I do not see a mark on the stein like Jerry does. Ron
