Walt & Ron, thank you for the added information. The bottom is marked with a red mark over a letter (i think it's a letter). I added a couple of photos showing the bottom markings on this link that you can copy and paste on your browser. http://www.picturetrail.com/sfx/album/view/24008426 The mug is only 4 1\2" tall.
